Gifts of cash, either by check, credit card, or online, are available for the immediate support of our programs and are usually fully tax deductible by donors who itemize deduction on their tax returns.
We take pleasure in requesting support for Bi-Habawalk’s programs in New York City: Stand Tall, Shi Otsitsi (“Be proud”), and Miva Mi Woe (“Come let’s do it!). These innovative programs aim to reduce the vulnerability of young people to substance abuse and teen pregnancy, increase cultural pride, and teach life skills.
This year’s goal is to raise funds to support the work of Bi-Habawalk, which includes after school programs. Studies have shown that young people who have enriching activities after school and during weekends are better able to grow emotionally and increase positive behavior as they mature. We hope to give our young people as many advantages as possible. Bi-Habawalk’s programs provide a big step towards a productive and fulfilling life.
We hope you will join us once again in reaching our fundraising goals. You can make a donation or send a check to
279 West 150th St., #1C NY, NY 10039 (payable to Bi-Habawalk). All donations are tax deductible.
